Criteria for Investment
We have determined certain key criteria that allow us to make a preliminary assessment of all our investment opportunities.
Generally the companies we look at should meet the following requirements:
- Achieve certain level of development: expansion capital is needed for further growth
- Enjoy clear and sustainable competitive advantage
- Occupy a leading position in their respective markets
- Possess management teams with proven track record and high degree of commitment
- Boast high ethical standards
- Operate in a market that is attractive for outside investors providing a clear exit opportunity
The transaction must allow us to:
- Invest between US $4.0 and US $15.0 million, although we are open to co-investing in larger transactions
- Hold at least 25%of the company’s shares
- Have a clear exit strategy with ability to realize a return within approximately 3-6 years from the initial investment
